Rent the Best Climate Control Storage Facilities in Greenwood, TX
Rent a Climate Controlled Storage Unit
When you are renting a climate control storage unit from us, maximizing your space is always important. Regardless of the size or type of storage you need, here are a few handy tips to make the most out of your self-storage units:
- Dryer sheets: Did you know that if you place dryer sheets in the corners of your storage units or inside our boxes, the smell will keep unwanted critters away. Spiders, moths, rats, may find their way into your unit but dryer sheets will help deter them. Replace your dryer sheet monthly for more effectiveness.
Maximize space: In order to maximize your space, you should stack boxes to the ceiling. If you are worried about the top boxes crushing the bottom boxes, use a shelving unit.
Label boxes: Label your boxes with the contents of the box so that you know exactly what is inside without having to open them up.
Packaging: Make sure your belongings are protected with bubble wrap or paper to decrease the chances of something breaking.
Disassemble items: Make sure to disassemble certain items to get the most out of your storage unit. Keep screws in a bag taped to it so you don’t lose parts.
Vacuum seal bags: Vacuum sealed bags help keep moisture and pests away from your belongings as well as maximize the space. Use these bags for blankets, bedding, and pillows.
